After a good discussion about developing quiet spaces in classrooms where pupils can take 5 when they need a bit of thinking time or feel emotionally 'full' our school council took the conversation back to their classes where they decided what would help them feel like themselves again. Our pupils chose art materials, therapy putty, fidgets, colouring in activities and ear phones so they could listen to relaxing music or sound effects on school iPads. We used some of the DE Wellbeing money to help purchase these lovely items. P7 and P6 Councillors packed them into our new 'chill boxes' and delivered them to each class today. ❤️
