Maths Week 2025
15th Oct 2025
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We’re halfway through Maths Week 2025 and it’s been a fantastic celebration of numbers, problem-solving and mathematical thinking across the school!
To begin our annual Maths Week, we celebrated with Creative Maths Hats!
To make Maths Week extra fun and engaging, each class was set a creative challenge to make and wear “Maths Hats” during their maths activities throughout the week!
So far, pupils have been enjoying a variety of engaging activities, including:
• Daily Maths Challenges to stretch their thinking and encourage teamwork.
• Maths Trails around the school, helping students see maths in the world around them.
• Interactive Games and Puzzles that make learning fun and collaborative.
Coming up in the next few days, we’re looking forward to:
• School Numeracy Competition- One winning poster will be chosen from each year group.
• Mad Hatters Day Friday - Outdoor activity. Children will see how long it takes to pass a ball around the perimeter of the whole school.
• Classroom Showcases – where students will present some of their favourite maths activities from the week.
We encourage you to talk to your child about what they’ve been learning and enjoying. Maths Week is all about showing that maths is everywhere – and that it can be exciting, creative, and fun!
Thank you for your continued support.
