STEM floats our boat in P5!

Our future engineers and inventors unleashed their creativity after spending the morning learning about buoyancy, density and, wait for it, Archimedes’ principle (!!) before getting stuck in with one of our Edina-funded Curiosity Boxes. It ties in perfectly with this term’s topic: Titanic, and after a few early prototypes plunged to the depths of our tank, the adjustments to design and approach meant we had success with our mission to transport ‘food’ on our rafts.

Lots of team work, problem solving and inventing, testing and redesigning - well done to all!
